Author Event-Luanne Rice & Sandra Miller
Luanne Rice & Sandra Miller In Conversation
Join us for an evening of conversation with two fantastic local authors.
Sandra A. Miller is the author of the award-winning memoir, Trove: A Woman’s Search for Truth and Buried Treasure. Her essays and articles have appeared in over one hundred publications including the Washington Post and the Boston Globe Magazine, for which she was a regular correspondent. Her debut novel, Wednesdays at One, is a haunting, psychological story of one man’s obsessive search for answers, the woman who leads the way, and the secret that threatens to destroy everything that matters to him: his career, his family, and his mind.
Luanne Rice is the New York Times bestselling author of thirty-six novels, including The Shadow Box and Last Day. Several of Rice's novels have been adapted for television, including Crazy in Love for TNT, and Blue Moon for CBS. Her new novel, Last Night, is a breathtaking thriller about a family shaken by lies, vengeance, and a cold-blooded crime, set against the backdrop of Westerly’s famed Ocean House Hotel during a fierce blizzard. There are stories of a twisted romantic past, and a history of greed, rage, and revenge that created the perfect storm for murder. This event is free, but registration is required.
The authors' presentation will be followed by Q&A and book signing. Copies of Last Night and Wednesdays at One will be available for purchase.
