Author Event-Eric Jay Dolin

Wakefield Books hosts Eric Jay Dolin for an author talk for his new book Left for Dead. Dolin is the author of sixteen books, most recently the award-winning Rebels at Sea: Privateering in the American Revolution and A Furious Sky: The Five-Hundred Year History of America’s Hurricanes. In Left for Dead, Dolin - “one of today’s finest writers about ships and the sea” – tells the true story of a wild and fateful encounter between an American sealing vessel, a shipwrecked British brig, and a British warship during the War of 1812. “With a plot worthy of the best seafaring fiction, Dolin's gripping narrative has the added fascination of being entirely true."—Andrea Pitzer, author of Icebound: Shipwrecked at the Edge of the World. Eric’s talk will be followed by Q&A and book signing, and copies of Left for Dead will be available for purchase. This event is free to attend, but registration is required  –
