Author Event-Diane Hanks

Diane Hanks joins us at Wakefield's World War II Foundation to talk about her book The Woman With a Purple Heart. Diane has written numerous screenplays and  recently returned to her first love—writing novels. The Woman With A Purple Heart is an inspiring WWII novel of heroic leadership, courage, and friendship, based on the true story of Annie Fox, an army nurse whose heroics during the attack on Pearl Harbor earned her a Purple Heart. This event is free, but attendees will have the  opportunity to visit the World War II Foundation Museum from 5:30 to 6:30, which is a $10 admission fee (to be paid on site).    

Diane's presentation will be followed by Q&A and book signing. Copies of The Woman With a Purple Heart will be available for purchase at the event.
